The thick noodles are part of the appeal when you order yakisoba at Chiyo. A longtime customer singled them out, and another diner praised the noodles too. Enjoy yakisoba alongside okonomiyaki, or make it the centrepiece and choose a small or large serving. Yakisoba and okonomiyaki set meals are also available at lunchtime.
Okonomiyaki options range from the classic pork-topped version to pork modern-yaki, topped with yakisoba noodles, and konnyaku okonomiyaki. One family described sharing pork okonomiyaki and several other dishes before finishing with yaki udon, and named the konnyaku version as a favourite. A diner who tried the pork modern-yaki remembered its crisp, fragrant exterior and fluffy centre, as well as being able to add as much mayonnaise as they liked at the table.
